In response to the Pahalgam attack, India conducted Operation Sindoor, targeting and annihilating nine principal terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Indian Army and Air Force, as part of a combined offensive, destroyed crucial strongholds of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed long-considered to be impenetrable strongholds of terror masterminds Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar.
In the wake of Operation Sindoor, an all-party meeting was convened by the Central Government at Parliament House today. The meeting was chaired by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Numerous prominent opposition leaders had attended the meeting, including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, among others. At the meeting, Rajnath Singh reported that nearly 100 terrorists were eliminated in Operation Sindoor.
The Defence Ministry announcement said that today morning, the Indian Defence Forces attacked air defence systems and radars in a number of locations in Pakistan. The Indian retaliation has also been in the same area and with the same intensity as Pakistan.
Pakistan is in a state of panic after Operation Sindoor. Earlier, the Pakistani army had attacked the Line of Control. On Thursday, the Pakistani army had tried to attack military bases in Srinagar, Jammu, and Punjab's Amritsar, Jalandhar,and Ludhiana through drones and missiles.
Indian troops targeted air defense radars and installations in several places in Pakistan early morning. India has been no less aggressive than Pakistan. It has been reported that an air defense installation in Lahore has been put out of action according to credible sources.
The HQ-9 air defence missile launchers of Pakistan's air defence forces were severely destroyed.
After the all-party meeting, AIMIM party leader Asaduddin Owaisi said that I have applauded our armed forces and the government on Operation Sindoor. I also suggested that we need to launch an international campaign against the Resistance Front (TRF). I also suggested that the government should request the US to designate it (TRF) as a terrorist outfit. We have to try to grey list Pakistan in FATF also.
After the all-party meeting, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has said that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh conducted the meeting in which everyone was briefed about Operation Sindoor. All the leaders gave their feedback. All leaders have shown maturity at a moment when we all are working unanimously. Everyone has praised and welcomed the armed forces for Operation Sindoor.
